The Ascend Education buildings work to train lower-class citizens in mass media positions to specialize in propaganda, advertising, and entertainment. With these educational programs, Ascend works to train new employees and recruitment them to the workforce. This education is strongly biased to the specific skills needed at Ascend Media Company and does not divert to any other essential skills. In turn, these educational programs are fairly useless at helping the quickly growing lower class. The only benefit at the educational programs, is the occasional person that is hired. Besides the small chance of obtaining a job, the lower-class people frequently attend the educational sessions in hopes of obtaining nutrient cubes. At random sessions throughout the year, lower-class citizens will be rewarded with the most disgusting of all foods. This corporate-run education initiative has also been criticized for spreading pro-business propaganda and encouraging corporate worship among the lower classes.
